Davido: In 2024, the icon took his craft and influence to unparalleled heights. Grammy nominations marked just the start. Tracks like Kante and his electrifying feature on Chris Brown’s Hmmm showcased his versatility, while sold-out concerts and the renewal of his Martell partnership redefined branding in Afrobeats, setting a new gold standard for the genre.

Alhan Islam: A year like no other for Alhan Islam. She took the global stage by storm, performing at COP28 and other international platforms to champion African culture, women’s empowerment, and peace. Her foundation, CURE, became a beacon for cultural revival, bridging generational divides and inspiring action.

His Lagos Fashion Week debut underscored his boundary-breaking presence. Toyé’s mix of raw, relatable lyrics and infectious beats made him a cultural phenomenon this year.

Minz: A storyteller at heart, Minz gave fans By Any Minz Necessary, an album that solidified him as a leader in Afrofusion. Featuring collaborations with Davido, Boj, and Blaqbonez, the project became an instant classic. His performance at Lagos Fashion Week and his global acclaim confirmed that Minz isn’t just a musician—he’s a movement.

Natse Jemide: From the silver screen to the sound booth, Natse’s 2024 was one for the books.
